Description

You cycle downstream along the Ybbstal cycle path to Gstadt and continue along the small Ybbstal cycle path to Ybbsitz - one of the main towns on the Iron Road and home to the FeRRum - Museum World of Iron. You then cycle around the Prochenberg - initially in the direction of Zogelsgraben, where after a few flat kilometers you arrive in the small Maria Seesal with its pilgrimage church.

The following 2km or so lead uphill at a maximum gradient of 10%, interspersed with flat sections - some on gravel. Soon a short, steep descent leads past the Theurezbach estate into the high valley of Prolling, where a few more small hills await you until you reach the large Kripp.

The last 4 km lead downhill back to Opponitz.
