Description
A shady, asphalted path leads from the Hainburg landing stage to Bad Deutsch-Altenburg. The route continues past the Carnuntinum Museum towards Petronell-Carnuntum. Quiet paths and country lanes lead to the Roman town of Carnuntum, where a uniquely reconstructed Roman quarter can be visited on its original site. The route combines nature, culture and Roman history in a pleasant way.
