The route starts at the EVN. From there, the route leads through the Kirchtal valley, becoming increasingly steeper with the option of a detour to the Liasenböndlhütte and the newly built forest road to the Hainfelder Hut.

Motorway exit St. Pölten South and via B20 and B18 to Hainfeld or via motorway exit Leobersdorf and B18 to Hainfeld
ÖBB passenger trains from/to Hainfeld station (bike transport requires reservation and is subject to a fee)
The Kirchenberg also invites you to the Three-Hut hike. There is also plenty to discover in Hainfeld.
