A cycle route through the "g'schupfte Mostviertel" as the locals say. Up and down hills, past square farms and rows of pear trees, through sections of forest and lush meadows. This cycle route is best ridden on an e-bike or is suitable for ambitious cyclists.
The route starts in Neuhofen an der Ybbs and begins gently to the RelaxResort Kotmühle and then climbs up to Schlickenreith and on to the Tavern Reikersdorfer, which is known for its dried pears, the "Kletzenbirn" and dried apples. Then it's back down via Wies and Kronberg in the direction of Neuhofen an der Ybbs.
Note: The cycle route is signposted in both directions and can also be ridden in the other direction.
Caution when riding downhill, partly steep gradient.
E-bike / road bike / mountain bike, bike helmet, sufficient drinks
Starting from the Ostarrichi Kulturhof in Neuhofen to Perbersdorf, further to the RelaxResort Kothmühle. After the hotel, a section through the forest and then right up to Schlickenreith (steep climb). Continue to the Mostheuriger Reikersdorfer and then back downhill via Wies and Kornberg to the starting point in Neuhofen an der Ybbs. Please note the gradient when riding downhill!
The bike route is marked with the sign "Kletzenbirn Bike Route" and a light blue color stripe on the sign and also in the map material.

A1 West Motorway, Amstetten-West exit, via B121 to Hausmening, then on to Neuhofen // or Amstetten - Winklarn - Neuhofen
