Description
Easy hike through the vineyards of the Kogelberg, Schöntal, Eichelberg and Blauenstein vineyards. At the Friedenskreuz on the Kogelberg there is not only a nice resting place, from here you can also enjoy a wonderful view of the lower Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German), the wine village of Zöbing and the Heiligenstein opposite, which is world-famous for its wonderful Rieslings. On fine days, the view extends as far as the peaks of the foothills of the Alps.

- Route description From the information board at the bus stop at the market square heading northwest, after about 30 m cross the Zöbinger main street (B34) and follow the street "Kogelbergweg" straight ahead for about 200 m. At the intersection with Kellergasse Wechselberg keep left and follow the street for another 200 m. After the last buildings keep right and follow the service road "Kogelberg" uphill for about 500 m. After the ascent you reach the Peace Cross on Kogelberg.From the Peace Cross continue straight on the road for another 1.3 km. At the intersection with the wayside shrine turn sharp left and follow the road for about 700 m into the village See. At the chapel in See turn left and follow the road for about 1.5 km back to Zöbing. In Zöbing keep left and follow Eichelbergstraße. At the end of Eichelbergstraße turn left and immediately left again into Weinbergsiedling. At the intersection at the end of Weinbergsiedling turn right and follow the road "Kogelbergweg" back to the starting point.

- Getting there From Vienna: Danube bank motorway A22 towards Stockerau, continue on S5 towards Krems to the exit Fels am Wagram and on B34 to Zöbing.From the west: West motorway A1 towards Vienna to St. Pölten, continue on S33 and B37 to Krems and on B218 to Langenlois and continue on B34 to Zöbing.
- Public transport Regular regional train connections between Zöbing and Hadersdorf (connection to Vienna), Krems as well as the Kamptal (fahrplan.oebb.at).
