Description

This stage begins in the vicinity of the extensive Cistercian monastery of Zwettl Abbey, which is one of the great art treasures of Central Europe. You now leave the Kamp to accompany the next of the three rivers responsible for giving this cycle route its name - the Thaya.

This takes you through long stretches of the northern Waldviertel.
