Description

A very nice excursion cycle route for a leisurely cycle tour through beautiful countryside, mostly along the Laabentalbach stream. You often cycle in the shade and are accompanied by the rippling of the water, partly through countryside with orchards reminiscent of the Mostviertel. Near Neulengbach, the route passes under a railroad crossing with an imposing structure and shortly before the end there is a view of Neulengbach Castle. On the Laabental cycle path, there is hardly any elevation gain. Please note that the cycle path continues on separate cycle paths in the local areas. There is standardized signage. The cycle path is easily accessible via Neulengbach railroad station. An outward and return journey on the section between Neulengbach and Brand-Laaben can therefore be easily combined with the train. There is a parking lot in Aigen for cyclists who want to arrive by car.
