Description

The start of the Frauenwieserteich Langschlag cross-country ski trails is located at the Frauenwieserteich recreational facility, right next to the Böhmerwald Straße B 38 near Mitterschlag. A network of numerous trails in the unspoiled Siebenhöf landscape offers the right route for every ability. Starting with the "Teichrunde" (1.5 km), the "Kinderstrecke" (4.0 km), the "Marathonstrecke" (8.5 km) and the "Panormastecke" (11.5 km), any distance is possible in various combinations. There is a double track on all trails and an additional skating track from the "Teichrunde" to the "Marathonstrecke".

The Aktivwelt Freiwald is a network of more than 280 km of cross-country trails at an altitude of 800 - 1000 meters.
The Waldviertel and Mühlviertel communities of Langschlag, Bad Großpertholz/Karlstift, Groß Gerungs, Liebenau, Unterweißenbach, Königswiesen and St. Georgen am Walde have jointly created an extensive network of cross-country ski trails (located on the high plateau of the Freiwald area).
