Description
This is where the circle closes: back to the beginning and even further. Our ancestors, grandparents and the generations before them, their history and their way of life have helped to shape us. What has remained of them? Serious-looking faces in arranged family photos, yellowed pictures? Stories and anecdotes?
Try to take your ancestors with you on this hiking day. Imagine their lives, their childhood, their youth, their everyday life, the stages of their lives. Imagine your parents as their children. Discover your own history.
- Route description Through the forest to the next intersection point of the LebenswegMaria Taferl, a holy place, lies behind us. Via Pagartsstetten, it goes past Kollnitz to Münichreith. The short detour to Kollnitzberg is worth it; from the newly installed observation tower you are rewarded with a wonderful panoramic view. Afterwards, a locally brewed special beer awaits in Münichreith. Via Mayerhofen, past Zöbring, you then reach the destination of Laimbach.
