Liechtenstein - Sternfahrt

Description

Cycle along the Liechtenstein Route from Poysdorf via Herrnbaumgarten and Schrattenberg across the Czech border to Valtice. We recommend a visit to the Liechtenstein Castle in Valtice, which was owned by the Liechtenstein family for centuries and is considered one of the most important examples of Baroque architecture in the Czech Republic. The cycle route continues to Lednice, the magnificent summer residence of the Liechtenstein princes with its unique palm house. From here, you cycle back to Austria and cross the border at Reintal. You cycle on to Altlichtenwarth, from where you change cycle paths and continue along the signposted Welschriesling cycle path. You return to Poysdorf via Großkrut and Walterskirchen.
