    Description

This hike is all about the element of water. Lake Lunz is known as the pearl of the Eisenwurzen and is the only natural lake in Lower Austria. The Mittersee has a beautiful waterfall, the Ludwigsfall. The Obersee may be small, but it is crystal clear. A small island with a group of spruce trees rises out of the dark green water. From the Obersee, the path becomes steeper up to the Leonhardikreuz - but you always have a great view of the Obersee. The last few meters are downhill again to the Herrenalm, which you can already see for the last 10 minutes. The tour then leads back to the starting point.
