The Marchfeld Canal Cycle Path takes you from the big city of Vienna, through Austria's vegetable garden, the Marchfeld, to impressive castles. The entire route is idyllically situated along the Marchfeld Canal and the Russbach stream. The destination is Schloss Hof. Partner businesses in the villages of the Marchfeld invite you to enjoy refreshments, food and accommodation. Your cycle tour can also be perfectly combined with a train or boat trip on the Danube. The route along the canal allows you to cycle quietly and relaxed away from motorized traffic and without any major inclines.

Many interesting topics such as the Marchfeld Canal as a natural structure, the history of Napoleon in the Marchfeld, nature, art and of course the magnificent Marchfeld castles can be experienced along the cycle path and in its surroundings.
