A hike where peace and contemplation are the defining elements. In the varied hilly landscape to the north of Pyhra, we pass through dreamy hamlets with their chapels and belfries and the wayside crosses and wayside trees in between, monuments created by people out of gratitude, humility or remembrance. We come across very old, simple wayside shrines (1756) as well as newly built chapels with wonderfully designed glass elements. Here we see how alive and vibrant this part of our culture is. Before the relaxed walk back along the Perschlingbach stream, the Fahra-Stüberl offers the opportunity for refreshments. We experience a beautiful view in front of the Schrotthof with a view of the Haspelwald, Dürnrohr, Zwentendorf and Buchberg.
