Mittelbergweg

From the main square—the town fountain—you’ll walk through Vinzenzigasse, past the Dominican Church. Turn left onto Klosterbrückerlweg, then turn right to leave town and hike through the vineyards along a sunken path. A detour to the “Kümmerlkapelle” on your right is recommended before you continue westward through the vineyards. Then follow a farm road to the Mittelberg. You’ll discover charming little spots on your hike across the Mittelberg before making your way back through the vineyards to the trail junction at the Kümmerlkapelle. The Vinariumheurige at the Hotel Althof or the Stadtheurige Brandstetter on Vinzenzigasse offer a well-deserved stop for refreshments.
