Description

Between Mühlbach and Traisen north of Ratzersdorfer See lake, the wilderness in the alluvial forest can be intensely felt. In the floodplain of the Traisenau, you can admire the beauty of the yellow water lily from the footbridge and observe tree frogs and water frogs.The area impresses with its species-rich flower meadows, which provide a habitat for a wide variety of butterflies and beetles without the use of sprays or late mowing. To the north is a mighty elm tree, which was declared a natural monument in 1997.
