Description
A tour from the market square in Nußdorf ob der Traisen via the high hinterland and a detour back to the Parapluiberg. The trail leads to the small villages of Ried and Theyern, surrounded by forest, then over a wooded ridge into the Traisental vineyard landscape with an impressive view from Parapluiberg into the Traisen and Danube valleys. At your destination, you can explore the 4,000-year-old vine culture of the past and present in the Nußdorf/Traisental Prehistoric Museum and at the region's wine taverns, winegrowers and innkeepers.
