Our approx. five km long planet hike starts at the Gewerbebaum in Weiten - in the valley of the sundials - with the sun, of course. On a scale of 1:1.6 billion, we hike through our solar system to its outermost planet Pluto in the hamlet of "Am Schuß". We will find true-to-scale illustrations of our planets on display boards. The hike leads partly through the beautiful hilly landscape of the Weitental valley. Benches along the way invite you to linger. The "Weitentalhof" inn in the hamlet of Am Schuß invites you to take a break. An accompanying brochure supplements the information on the planetary hiking trail boards and provides an insight into the wonderful world of astrology. The brochure is available in the inns and stores. The hiking trail is uniformly and consistently signposted with yellow signs.
