    Description

    Yspertal, the sunny vacation resort with its magnificent natural jewel, the Ysperklamm gorge. Here, hikers experience an impressive interplay of the elements wood, stone and water!
    Tips: Tennis and leisure center, year-round indoor swimming pool, local history museum in Altenmarkt (including the life's work of the "Schalenstein researcher" Pastor Hans Wick to admire, mysterious facts about the legendary, mystical places in the region), Hoffmann riding stables. Worth seeing: Rorregg Castle (privately owned by the Habsburg - Lorraine family), Wimburg ruins (from the 14th century, widow's seat of Agnes of Hungary), St. Urban's Church in Pisching, St. Magdalena's Church in Altenmarkt with pictures from the school of Kremser Schmidt and Paul Troger, St. Laurentius' Church in Ysper with "carving". All hiking trails from Altenmarkt and Ysper are signposted from both starting points!
