Cycling tour Starting from Rabensburg
Start: Rabensburg / Finish: Hohenau
Start: Rabensburg / Finish: Hohenau
Passing imperial eagles, deer, storks and rare amphibians: there is plenty to experience along the March-Thaya floodplains. The most species-rich river landscape in Austria is one of the most fascinating floodplains in Central Europe and is a popular excursion area for families. Along the cycle route you will find places to swim, many an animal to observe, fragrant wheat fields and meadows, refreshment in the wine cellar lane, fun and games on playgrounds, interesting birdwatching hideaways and viewing platforms, concerts by frogs & co. and, at the right time, the opportunity to experience bird ringing live.
The Nordbahn makes for a comfortable trip there and back.
