Description
The hiking trail through the Schrems Nature Park reveals the unique fauna and flora of the high moor to visitors. The open water areas of the ponds are home to the marsh swordline and the yellow water lily. The sundew, one of the few carnivorous plants in our native flora, can also still be found in the Schrems moor.

- Route description The hiking trail through the nature park opens up the unique fauna and flora of the raised bog. Along the water surfaces of old peat pits, you will find the swamp iris and the yellow pond lily. Also, the sundew and bladderwort, representatives of the few carnivorous plants in our native flora, can still be found in the Schremser Moor. Those lucky may also spot the extremely rare moor frog, which finds ideal living conditions here.

The Prügelsteg leads visitors on wooden posts a bit into the moor, where you can especially well discover the fascinating plant and animal world. You can experience the moor up close at the moor footbath – said to work wonders for tired feet.
