The most beautiful wine villages in the region are strung together on this cycle route. The ride through the vineyards, past the ruins of Senftenberg and Rehberg, along the river and through beautiful deciduous forests make this tour a cycling delight.This wonderful landscape can also be tasted during a stop at a wine tavern or a stop at the picnic vending machine in Priel or the regional store in Senftenberg.

We start in Krems on the Kremstal Bike Trail and then continue on the Waldviertel Bike Trail from Senftenberg back to Krems.
There is a paid parking garage at the Krems train station; access is via Austraße (turn left onto "Am Frachtenbahnhof").
Krems can be reached from Melk via the B3 (Federal Highway 3); from Vienna, Krems can be reached via the S5 (Stockerau Expressway).
