From the Würflacher WellnessWelt, head uphill into the forest, along the forest road to the Red Cross and later the Lärbaumkreuz. This beautiful forest clearing is perfect for a short break. The trail now descends to the Schrattenstein castle ruins. Climb up to the ruins, where wonderful views await. Continue through the forest down to the "Zum alten Schlossteich" inn, which invites you to take a break surrounded by deer enclosures in Schrattenbach. Via the village of Greith you reach the Johannesbachklamm gorge, which you hike through via steps and bridges. At the gorge inn you have the opportunity to stop for refreshments before heading back to the WellnessWelt via the Andreas-Steig (easy forest path).
