An easy hike

The starting point of the “Exercise” themed walking trail is at the recycling center in Althöflein. We’ll first walk along the farm road toward Ginzersdorf, following the signs (arrows). Along the way, we’ll pass the natural monument (biotope) and can admire the untouched wilderness on our left. Feel free to take a short break at the wayside shrine and enjoy the surroundings while sitting on the bench there. Once we reach Ginzersdorf, we turn right onto the first paved road (the “Hintaus” road) and follow it to the intersection. There, we carefully cross the street and continue to the right, next to the church dedicated to St. Elizabeth, following the road as it curves. Just before the road curves to the left, we’ll see the first information panel. We’ll now turn right onto the dirt path along the stream and will soon see the Ginzersdorf Pond on our left. We continue walking, however, and only cross the stream at the first bridge; we then walk back to the left on the paved road toward Ginzersdorf until we reach the pond. There, we turn toward the second information board.

From here, we continue left toward the town center until we reach the first bridge. We cross it and then turn right immediately. We now walk along the narrow path between the stream and the houses and, at its end, carefully cross the main road. There, on the left side of the road, we come to the third information board. Now we follow the road straight ahead; just before the arbor on the right (a nice, secluded spot), the fourth information board awaits us. After that, we take the farm road (to the left) back to the starting point in Althöflein (ASZ).
