Description
Shortly after Gaming, you turn off the large Erlauftal cycle path onto the small Erlauftal cycle path and cycle via Brettl to the cultural village of Gresten. First on the main road with little traffic, then on the cycle path for the last few kilometers before Gresten. Follow this after passing through the village and away from the main road, past the Meridian Stone to Randegg, over the Perwarth ruins and on along the idyllic little Erlauftal cycle path. You pass the villages of Perwarth and Wang before crossing a larger village in Steinakirchen.
Turn right here onto a country road with little traffic and over two hills to Purgstall to the large Erlauf. From here, you cycle upstream along the Erlauftal cycle path back towards the starting point - the district capital of Scheibbs is particularly worth a stop.
