Running tips:
Start slowly to gently get your circulation going. After about 10 minutes take a short break with stretching exercises. Vary the pace to increase performance gains. Avoid overloading, especially on steep sections, walk if your basic fitness is not sufficient. Include warm-up and cool-down phases. Let the run end gently and don't stretch too intensely afterwards!

Wear suitable clothing and good running shoes. Remember rain and sun protection. Bring enough to drink.

Starting panel castle square, left uphill past the Rudolfvilla, turn right, along the street into the Schneedörfl district, past the Waldschlössl, straight along the Sonnenpromenade to Payerbach – Werning district. Right downhill, cross the Südbahn track, immediately turn right onto the "Heinzelmännchen-Weg" to Payerbach-Reichenau station. Past the station slightly downhill along the Südbahn to the Schwarzviaduct. Cross the federal road, over the wooden bridge - the Fischerpromenade back to the castle square Reichenau.

Parking spaces are available in the area of the castle square.

A2 to Seebenstein junction - S6 to Gloggnitz - B27 to the castle square in Reichenau

Take the Südbahn to Payerbach-Reichenau. Buses run at regular intervals between Payerbach-Reichenau station and the starting point.
