Outside Dürnstein, there are five large paid parking lots. The town center of Dürnstein is reachable within 5 to 10 minutes on foot.
A1 to St. Pölten junction, then continue on S33 and B3 via Krems to Dürnstein.
By Train & Bus:
The nearest major train station is Krems an der Donau, which is served regularly by trains from Vienna, St. Pölten, and the Waldviertel. From the Krems train station, VOR regional buses run directly to Dürnstein several times a day. www.vor.at
Wachaubahn: During the season, the Wachaubahn runs regularly from Krems to Dürnstein. www.wachaubahn.at
By boat (seasonal):
During the season, Dürnstein is also accessible by Danube riverboat—for example, on the DDSG Blue Danube from Krems or Melk.https://ddsg-blue-danube.at/
