A varied landscape with magnificent panoramic views awaits all leisure cyclists on this challenging tour. From Seitenstetten Abbey, the route leads via St. Peter/Au to Weistrach, gently up to Kürnberg (tip: a scenic detour to the Kaiser Elisabeth Warte) and on along meadows and forests via Hochstraß, Monument, Ertl and Bruckbach to St. Michael (tip: a turn-off to the Hubertus Chapel and the Voralpenblick viewing platform).
Along the Mosthöhenstraße, outstanding views stretch far across the Danube to the Czech Republic and on the other side to the Ötscher, Gesäuse and the Haller Mauer, making up for the effort. Finally, the tour continues to Biberbach and back to the starting point at the Benedictine abbey in Seitenstetten.
Note: The cycle route is signposted in both directions and can also be ridden in the other direction.
