A historic road bike route full of challenges
The route covers 80 kilometers and 930 vertical meters through some of the most beautiful and challenging landscapes in the region. The route, which was part of the classic competition of the St. Pölten Cycle Marathon held until 2019, offers both sporting challenges and scenic highlights. The striking climbs include the Wetterluckn, Luft and the challenging Plambacheck, which demand a lot from the riders but reward them with magnificent views. The route leads through the Pielach Valley, which is known for its picturesque nature. The return to St. Pölten along well-known and quiet cycle paths rounds off the tour perfectly. This route offers a unique combination of sporting ambition and fascinating nature.
