It has been more than 110 years since the Scheibbser Gebirgsverein built one of the most beautiful waterfall trails in Lower Austria. Today, every hiker can walk along the highest waterfall in the country. The Trefflingbach cascades 120 meters down into the Erlauf - a unique experience is guaranteed at the start of a beautiful family hike.
But the tour has much more to offer: The Toreck, a striking 100-meter-long gorge and the narrowest point of the Erlauf in the Tormäuern. A romantic gorge forest along the river. Bridge constructions worth seeing. The Devil's Church, a hollowed-out rock needle with a legendary past. A woodcutter's museum in Trübenbach and a geological nature trail that Alexander Tollmann once laid out along the panoramic road.
