Description
Whether Nordic walking, running or for a stroll, the Thermenbäckerei circuit invites you to exercise in the fresh air along gentle forest paths in the Linsberg forest, through the village of Bad Erlach and past the Ulrichskirche church and the forest cemetery. Even those who don't have much time can do something good for their health with this circuit. You don't have to be a professional runner, the 2.7 km route is also suitable for beginners. On the route, you pass various beautiful places in Bad Erlach, such as the local history museum with the stork smoke catcher, which is steeped in history.
The start of the loop is right next to the parking lot of the Linsberg Asia Therme. Here you can relax in the thermal pools or saunas before or after sport and give your body a break. For a longer stay, you can try out one of the Bad Erlach running routes around the spa every day.
- safety instructions Make sure when choosing the route that it matches your experience and your fitness. Check the weather forecast in advance.

- Route description We start behind the route overview board at the parking lot of the Linsberg Asia Therme, onto a forest path that leads us past the spa on the right. We stay on the path and then turn left and walk comfortably slightly uphill. At the fork in the path, we keep right and then left and come out of the forest. We first walk right towards Linsberg Castle and then turn left onto the connecting road to Schwarzer Brunn Weg. We follow this left along the railway and then turn left past the local history museum onto Altabach Street. We cross the tracks and walk along a path that leads us to Thermenstraße. Here we turn right and after a short stretch turn left again onto a path that leads us back to the starting point at the spa parking lot. In case of uncertainty, follow the Runnersfun boards with the red marking.
