The Unterberg shelter is open all year round (except from November 2nd week - December 7th) and is located in the middle of the Unterberg natural snow ski area.

- Route description We start our hike at the former inn in Gries in Rohr im Gebirge. We follow the path through the Miragraben until we reach the Unterberg Schutzhaus.
- Getting there Drive on the A2 to Wöllersdorf and drive along the B21 through Pernitz and Gutenstein to Rohr im Gebirge.
- Public transport For example, take the train to Wiener Neustadt station. From there continue by regional bus to Rohr im Gebirge. More info at: www.vor.at
