Riding is at your own risk.
Before each ride, check the functionality of brakes, tires, and suspension fork/shock absorber. Always ride with hazard awareness and controlled speed, and adapt the choice of trails to the skill level of the group and the terrain. The Fair Play rules must be observed at all times. Single/shared trails and constructed trails in trail parks and trail centers often have stones, roots, steep sections, steps, and sharp corners that require specific riding skills. When in doubt, simply dismount and push the bike.A safe and functional mountain bike is a prerequisite for all trails. Helmets and gloves protect in case of falls and can be supplemented on single/shared trails by knee and elbow protectors. A modern mountain bike with disc brakes and sufficient tire tread is recommended. For single and shared trails starting at the red difficulty level, a full-suspension bike with modern geometry is recommended. Tools, tire levers, pump, and spare tube help with breakdowns. Carry enough supplies (drinks and food) as well as a mobile phone and wind/rain jacket.
The parking situation in Weidlingbach is not the best. Unfortunately, there are only very few parking spaces available.
It is recommended to arrive already with the mountain bike or simply include Weidlingbach as a point on the MTB route.
If this is not possible, please be considerate of local residents by keeping driveways clear. Please park only where parking is allowed!
Riding on the forest road or parking on the forest road to the trail is strictly prohibited!
Best to arrive directly with the mountain bike through Weidlingbach.
It is 10 km from Klosterneuburg-Weidling station to Windischhütte, where the trails start.
Since July 15, 2016, the two trails in Weidlingbach have been officially open.
