Description

The Triestingau cycle path - cycled with all waters
In Schwechat south of Vienna, there is a wild romantic alternative route to the Thermenradweg. The "Triestingau cycle path" leads over 30 scenic kilometers to Schönau an der Triesting and thus runs more or less parallel to the Thermenradweg. Cyclists can enjoy drifting on flat paths along the Triesting, immersing themselves in a beautiful natural floodplain area or making a delightful detour to the Heurigen villages of the thermal region. The paths are consistently paved, and occasionally a tractor crosses the path. In addition to this special natural idyll, old spinning, weaving, and felt factories shape the picture.
