Description
The Tut-Gut circular hikes in Markt Piesting are easy routes with beautiful views. At the Rote Kreuz at an altitude of 504 meters, for example, you can enjoy a wonderful view. Continue in the direction of Dreistetten am Hausenberg. A detour to Dreistetten to the Scherrerwirt, which has a village museum, is well worthwhile. After the hike, you return to Markt Piesting to the Schmankerl-Wirt at the Waldbad, where you can cool off and enjoy a refreshing drink and rest. Due to the short walking time, this circular hike is also ideal for families. Please note that this loop is not suitable for baby carriages!

- Route description We start at the Schmankerl-Wirt next to the Waldbad in Markt Piesting and follow the red-marked path to the Red Cross. Here we turn right onto a trail. We then walk along the ridge to the Hausenberg. At the road, we turn right onto the green-marked path and follow it via the Piestingtal circular hiking trail 231 back to the Schmankerl-Wirt at the Waldbad.
- Parking Free parking available at the large parking lot in front of the Waldbad Markt Piesting.
- Getting there From Vienna, you reach Markt Piesting via the Wöllersdorf exit of the A2, continue towards Gutenstein on the B21, at the first opportunity in Markt Piesting turn right from the B21 onto Wöllersdorfer Straße. After about 300 meters, turn left uphill towards Waldbad/Schmankerl-Wirt into Bocksbachgasse, after about 100 meters you will already see the entrance to the Waldbad.
- Public transport Take the regional train from Wr. Neustadt main station towards Gutenstein and get off at the Piesting-Harzwerk stop. Then about 20 minutes on foot to the Schmankerl-Wirt at the Waldbad. Buses also run to Markt Piesting. More information at www.oebb.at or www.vor.at
