Description
Pfaffstätten is located in the Thermenregion Vienna Woods - one of Austria's oldest and most famous wine-growing regions - and on the south-eastern foothills of the Vienna Woods Biosphere Reserve. From the Klesheimwarte right next to the Rudolf Proksch hut, there is a magnificent panoramic view over the Vienna Basin to the Leitha Mountains and the Schneeberg, which is over 2,000 meters high. Hiking Pfaffstätten is also a popular local recreation area. With its many hiking trails and the Thermenradweg cycle path, those seeking relaxation can unwind here. At the end of the day, the many wine taverns offer a cozy get-together.
