From the parking lot of the Kirchschlag elementary school, the trail leads you through the Eckerholz to the Hubertus Chapel, where you can take a break after the first ascent. Continue through the Schmalzau and via Rohraustraße to the Waldhof Chapel, which is idyllically situated in a clearing of the federal forest. The route continues to Scheib-Primassen, where you pass the "source of the Little Krems". Forest, meadows and beautiful countryside continue to Kienings/Windhof, after which the destination of Kirchschlag is already in sight. In Kirchschlag, you have the opportunity to stop for a bite to eat at the Kirchenwirt "Zum Adam" (Tuesday = rest day) and then visit the "Pilgrimage Church of the Blue Lord". There is a public playground at the starting point.

You can take Line 794 from Ottenschlag or Kottes, and Line 719 from Melk-Spitz-Mühldorf-Kottes to Kirchschlag/FF-Haus. This stop is not far from the Kirchschlag Elementary School.
