The cycle tour offers great views, takes you to historic places, through charming villages and on through the wonderful nature surrounding the state capital - perfect for a relaxing break.
Please observe the traffic regulations! Groups with children are advised to dismount and walk the bike together when crossing roads.
No special requirements for the bicycles. Helmet is mandatory for children under 12 years old.
Route: Starting point City Hall St. Pölten – Dr.-Karl-Renner-Promenade – Hammerweg – Landhausviertel – Traisental Cycle Path – Lions Bridge – Altmannsdorf – Ochsenburg Castle – Ganzendorf – St. Georgen – Weitzersdorf RW 403 – Völtendorf – Schwadorf – Witzendorf – Waitzendorf – Weitern – Viehofen – Oberradlberg – Traisental Cycle Path – Radlbrunn Bridge – Pottenbrunn – Wasserburg – same route back to the Traisental Cycle Path – Feldmühle – Ratzersdorfer Lake – Wagramer Bridge – into town – City Hall.

West autobahn A1, exit St. Pölten South/East
Arrival by bus or train to St. Pölten main station.
Along the way there are the recreational areas Viehofner Lakes and Feldmühle, the Landhausviertel, the Ratzersdorf leisure center with sports facilities (tennis, mini golf, beach volleyball).
