WACHAU160 - ultra-distance around the Wachau (164 km)
The WACHAU160 is a new 164-km ultra-distance of the Wachau Trail 2026. The circuit starts and ends in Krems and leads over challenging trails, forest paths and mountain ranges on the south bank of the Wachau.
The first 64 km are completely unsupported: no Labe, no markings, navigation exclusively via GPS and complete self-sufficiency.
From the Labe Pielachberg you enter the regular Wachau trail system with markings and refreshment points.
The distance is aimed exclusively at experienced trail runners with reliable GPS navigation, high stamina and experience in self-supply.
