The Zwettl Valley is certainly the most popular local hiking area for all Zwettl excursions, as the promenade running along the town wall branches off directly into two hiking trails that follow the Zwettl Valley out of town. These two hiking trails have been combined to form the forest adventure trail. Along the edge of the forest past the "Graslhöhle" and the "Lange Ruhe" to the quarry - an idyllic spot. Shortly before the inn in Demutsgraben up to the edge of the valley and back to Zwettl.
