WANDERBLUME ST. AEGYD 4 - Trollblumenweg Seebachrunde

Trollblumenweg: Seebachtal - Ellenbogen - Amt Mitterbach

From the market square, take the main road (B 21) past St. Aegyd a.N. railroad station and past the warehouse over the northern railroad crossing and over the Weissenbach bridge. Here turn left along the asphalt road into the Seebachtal valley. Following this, you will reach a fork in the road after 20 minutes. Continue straight ahead for approx. 50 m and then turn left over the bridge and follow the path up to a large meadow. Cross the meadow in an easterly direction until you reach a farm track in front of a chapel. Following the farm track in a northerly direction, after approx. 30 - 40 minutes you will reach an asphalt road again, which leads to Mitterbach. (Regina Oysmüller farmstead - Obermitterbach) Now cross the railroad line out of the valley and turn left through the Mitterbach settlement to Mühlhof 1898 (refreshment stop: on the right of this is Rasthaus Fritz with petrol station) to St. Aegyd on the cycle path past the economically important industrial area to Gasthaus Stiefsohn (refreshments available) and from there to the Badweg junction. Follow this to the Red Cross and from there turn left back to the starting point.

Total time required: approx. 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
