Description
The entire Wechsel panoramic trail lies at an altitude of over 1,000 meters. This not only guarantees wonderful panoramic views of Schneeberg, Rax, Wechsel and the surrounding regions, but also a high level of snow reliability. Provided there is enough snow for grooming, the trail is groomed from the beginning of December to the end of March and runs through varied terrain and is also divided into smaller circular trail sections.
The Feistritzsattel circular trail (trail no. 8) is suitable for experienced cross-country skiers with a basic level of fitness and covers a distance of around 9.5 kilometers. The Feistritzsattel circular trail offers a magnificent panorama of the surrounding mountains (Rax, Schneeberg, Stuhleck).
