Description

We leave the main square - town fountain - through the Verderber and Znaimertor gates. At the crossroads there is a fork ahead of us; we take the left - into Fladnitzerstraße - in the direction of Hardegg. After approx. 200 m, we turn right into the rural shopping street Lange Zeile. At the end of Lange Zeile, the wine trail begins, leading us through hilly vineyards, past a varietal vineyard, up to the Altenberg. Past the Winzerhaus am Altenberg, towards the railroad crossing, to the right, we walk along the Setzberg back to the town. The path leads into the Lange Zeile, where the Altstadtheurige (Lehninger family, Lange Zeile no. 33) invites you to stop for a bite to eat.
