Winter hiking around the Leckermoos high moor on the Hochreit plateau near Göstling an der Ybbs.
Beautiful circular trail in the middle of the nature reserve in an idyllic and very quiet location high above Göstling an der Ybbs. Cross-country skiers and winter hikers share the trail, which also includes eleven educational stations about the high moor and the Dürrenstein-Lassingtal wilderness area.
Beware of black ice in shaded areas.

Parking and WC Hochmoor
About 8 km from 3345 Göstling an der Ybbs to the end of Hochreit Street. Follow the signs to Leckermoos. The street is narrow with passing bays and has up to 15% incline -> possibly chain requirement.
After the winter walk, a visit to the Göstling brine spa warms any frozen limbs.
