Description
The Wittgensteinweg begins between Dretenpacherhof and the municipal office and the first green plaque with the philosopher's words greets you here. Continue slightly uphill along the asphalted path with great views. Keep right and continue uphill along the forest path to the next signposts. Follow the blue markings to the highest point of the hike, the Trahtkapelle (Markuskapelle) at 835 meters. The rest area behind the chapel has a quiet location and beautiful views of the mountains. Then keep right and follow the forest path downhill and right again to the meadow that leads through a small gate onto the toll road. Turn left down the gravel road past the Webermaterl to the country road. The path then leads right along the road, left past the factory building and straight on to the Schneeweißkapelle chapel. With a view of the village and accompanied by the sound of the stream, you reach the last quote on the way to the starting point - "School is the place where the world begins for every child!
