Katharina C. Herzog and David Leitner initiated the repeatedly awarded art project Würmlas Wände – urban art on rural facades in the market town of Würmla (district of Tulln) in Lower Austria in 2019. The motifs were created in cooperation with the owners of the walls and tell personal stories about the villagers of Würmla: their life in the countryside, their wishes and concerns, what occupies and moves them.
