The 6.6-kilometer, barrier-free hiking route leads to the source of the Kleine Krems.
The hike starts in Braunegg at the fire station. Follow the paved road (1 km) toward Muckendorf, turn left at the intersection, and then immediately right into the “Primassen” (forest); the next few kilometers follow forest and meadow trails. After a short stretch on a paved farm road, you’ll reach the spring. Take a moment to listen to nature. For the return trip, you can choose either the paved road through the Scheiber Forest or the meadow path. Finally, you’ll reach the observation deck in Braunegg. It’s another 300 meters to the starting point in town.
