Aspang-Markt

The market town of Aspang-Markt is located in the district of Neunkirchen in the Wechselland region at the foot of the Hochwechsel. Situated in the foothills of the Alps, the village is known as a starting point for hikes and nature experiences. • Visit the automobile museum with 120 motor vehicles from the 19th and 20th centuries. Those interested in culture can visit the parish churches in Ober- and Unteraspang, as well as the late Gothic church in Aspang-Berg.
• On the main square, you can admire the beautiful civic buildings, the municipal office and the fountain, all of which are listed buildings.
• Sports and leisure activities are not neglected here either. In addition to soccer pitches and tennis courts, there is also an outdoor pool.
• The Aspang-Markt theme trail combines nature and adventure over a distance of around 2.5 kilometers
• Aspang became famous throughout Austria thanks to the Makos brass band. The prominent "Böhmische Blasmusik" group organizes the Böhmischer Kirtag every two years, one of the event highlights in Aspang.
