Hadres
Welcome to the market town of Hadres. The market town of Hadres consists of the cadastral communities of Hadres, Obritz and Untermarkersdorf. The villages are located in the Weinviertel region and are mainly supported economically by viticulture. Hadres itself has the "longest closed wine cellar lane" in the country, which is visited by many tourists every year. The dialect poet Lois Schiferl also lived in Hadres. From 1908 to 1911, the poet Heinrich Suso-Waldegg worked as a chaplain in the parish. The parish churches of the cadastral parishes are also worth a visit. A sports hall is available to the general public. The market town of Hadres is known far beyond its borders for its fine wines and is recommended for every visit.
