Hohenau an der March
Hohenau an der March is located in the north-eastern Weinviertel in the border triangle of Austria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic at the confluence of the March and Thaya rivers.
Untouched alluvial forest on the Green Belt, a refuge for rare fauna and flora. An ideal place for every stress-ridden recreation seeker.
The border community offers visitors from near and far numerous opportunities for active leisure activities. After refreshing laps in the Au Bad, you can fortify yourself at the wine tavern on the Kellerberg and then listen to the melody of the carillon in the bell tower or visit the nearby Lednice and Valtice castles in the Czech Republic.
Hohenau can be reached via the B8 and B49 (Amber Road), the A5 and L20, by train via the Northern Railway, by post bus from Mistelbach or by bike via one of the 5 cycle routes.
