Hohenberg

40 km south of the Lower Austrian capital of St. Pölten lies the small, picturesque and creative village of Hohenberg in the upper Traisental.

The "Creative Village Hohenberg" is a meeting place for artists, art enthusiasts, quirky birds, weird types, adabeis and people like you and me. The creative school offers courses all year round: from wood carving to pottery, from painting to writing workshops, chamber music evenings, exhibitions, square concerts and summer festivals round off the offer. The Kerbholz culture trail tells the story of Hohenberg. Information is available at the municipal office. Hohenberg also has an outdoor swimming pool, a mini golf course and a large playground.
